John Webley, Tourism & Safari Specialist, Abercrombie & Kent

Born and raised in East Africa, Mr. Webley has turned his love of his homeland into a profession. Early in his career, he piloted hot air balloons over the Maasai Mara prior to traveling to the U.S. to earn a degree at UCLA. He joined Abercrombie & Kent in 1990 where he advanced through the company and eventually served as Vice-President until the mid 2000s. Simultaneously, John embraced his love of the African environment, wildlife, cultures and conservation by being an active Board Member for many years with Friends of Conservation.  Mr. Webley has served on the International Advisory Board of Friends of Africa International sinc 1988.  Today, Mr. Webley serves as Director of Private Jet Tours for Abercrombie & Kent, and as sales director of Lakani Tours and specializes in African adventure travel.
